So I'm wanting to smooth out and red gloss paint some interior parts in my 1.4 Stilo!

I was wanting to know how to take the parts out to start off with!

i've taken off the top glove box part, but the bottom actual glove box is most likely going to be a challenge, so, any ideas?

Also the door panels, it seems to be one big thing but i'm not sure, anyone know about those?

also, the air vents, are they easy to get at?

any tips would be much appreciated, thanks! :)

What exactly are you painting? The rubber parts? Won't that look a little odd painted red?

The door panels are all one piece yeah! Under the screws at the bottom, then theres two or three bolts in the handles then lift off. Make sure you undo the electric window switch first! :)

and with the glove box, you'll have to undo all the bolts insde the box its self, and the ones under it too - you'll find them just under the glove box lid - then you'll need to take the passenger air bag switch out to. Its found on the left of the glove box, as there are some more bolts behind it but for this you'll have to disconnect the battery first, preferably the night before as you don't want that going off!!. once there all out it will just slide out but don forget the interior light? that will also have to be undone (y)

then your interior should look alittle like this! :D

Well using primer and filler I should be able to smooth it out after a few coats by sanding it, then using the gloss red and clear lacquer to make a nice finish!

Thanks for that, If I'm going to do the door panels I guess I'll have to paper over the fabric so I don't get that then!

Thanks for that, Sounds like a big challenge but if I manage it would be worth it, I'll start with the easier parts of the interior first and then move onto the glove box I think!

thanks guys! :D
