hi my 1.2 16v has a rattle on the engine been told today its the valve shims any one ever done this job any info would help me out thank u

All Stilos engines except the 1.9 JTD 8 valve have hydraulic tappets, so no shims.
like said no shims, what grade oil you running and when was it last changed?

they are tappets, however the rattle on the 1.2 16v engien are common as they can get grit in the system. a GOOD engine flush and new oil should put it back to normal.

dune 2 flushes now with new iol filters and oil still tapping

Remove the oil cap and pour oil in while the engine's running, see if the tapping stops. If it does you're not getting sufficient oil to the top of the engine.
