Unplugged the D91 multiplug and fuse held. All the injectors are showing 25ohms, but there is a dead short to earth between d91 plug (female) and the injectors. metering any of the 5 pins in the plug to the engine shows a circuit.
Any idea on what I can do

Assume you mean the D81 connector, I can't find a D91 on the diagram.

If the fuse doesn't blow with D81 disconnected, the the short must be between D81 and one or more injectors, or could be an injector shorting internally.

Check the wiring for any signs of damage or crushing. If none found, reconnect D81 and disconnect all the injectors. Reconnect them one at a time to find the injector or wire that blows a new fuse.

And how do I get to them is it a pig of a job

Sorry... I don't know. I don't have a 1.6 petrol engine.

I assume it would be obvious when you look at them.

One of the Injector cables was rubbing up against the rocker cover and exposed the wires which was creating the short
