Hi. Firstly thank you for realising that HIDs are not an option, if only more people realised this when they have reflector lights :worship:

Unfortunatly as far as I'm aware there are no RHD projector units available for the Stilo.

The Osram Nightbrakers are good, however I found the life of them was poor, I now use Ring Xenon Plus headlamp bulbs. Same output as the Osram, but last a lot longer from experience. (y)

thanks for your reply :)

i try to look these things up before i post stuff lol;)

thanks again

have you guys herd of H7R bulbs for HID's there for reflector lights hence the R and just give you a good beam pattern.. from what ive herd there very good at cutting out all that excess light from normal H7 hid'

hmm, in a dilemma now, if these do work they would be nice to have (i miss my hids) if these dont dazzle other people i will consider them, but i dont want to buy them if they dont work  more research i think :p

thanks for the info though

I have h7r bulbs fitted with a hid kit on my car and I have the standard reflective headlight units. I have never been flashed at by other cars since installing them 1 year ago. If you set them up correctly they will be fine on the stilo. Plus with the headlight level adjuster buttons you can always angle them up or down depending how high the beam pattern is.

No, that link is to the same set as iv got in mine. The stilo's don't have bulb failure warning on the headlights for some reason. All other exterior bulbs, it does.

Problem with the chavs is that most of them either have there lights pointing to the sky or they never aline them probably

The 'R' Ones are still not road legal though, and I've yet to see a set that don't cause some sort of scatter in reflector lenses, although I may just be unlucky in never having had someone with them pass me.

Don't forget about the change in MOT's thats happening as we speak also regarding HIDs.

HID'S were never legal without self leveling suspension anyways so you were always going to be running illegally.... and there are cars such as megans that will pass with their factory HID units. so aslong as your pattern is correct then im sure they arnt going to test the leveling feature and its not tooo hard to swap over once a year

but i do stress... if they are scattering, check there fitted correcly and if so dont use them! ive got a set on order,, and there only going on if the pattern is correct!!!

ive had them in a bravo (1998) and they worked fine with little glare... certainly wasnt blinding but their beam patterns were way better than my stilo is now.
