hey guys, I changed my clocks today (broke originals trying to blank off a light) installed the new ones but I'm not getting my ASR bulb lighting up or ASR off warning when i press the button, is this enabled when I do the proxi-alignment or will I not have this warning any more?

What light are you "blanking off"?

its the brake light (0)with the ! in the centre, body computer issue and the car will fail its MOT whereas I was told if i blanked it and took car there for an MOT they will pass it, all because the brake fluid sensor is not being sensed on the body computer, as soon as I get body computer exchanged at fiat (£260 including matching to the car) I'll be removing the blank!!

I think your instrumentcluster is unaware of your car having ASR. Proxy-allignment should do the trick. Could be the same with your brakefluidlevelsensor.

I tried a proxi on the old clocks which done nothing, as soon as i get the MOT then I'll be un-blanking the light, as i only taped some black paper to the back of the clocks so its easy to remove

UPDATE!!!!

Went to do the proxi, FAILED TO EXECUTE

went into the body computer to view errors

EVERYTHING was showing an error (only explination is when i had car at garage and they tested BC)

cleared faults

Proxi again, completed, turned ignition off, back on and i now have the ASR light, went into service as i was getting the service now message (had no tickets left on original clocks) 6 tickets left on the new clocks, so thats a bonus,


so all in all, Service is stored in the clocks not BC, and Proxi has sorted the missing light,

just the Drivers Side Airbag to fix, (already done passengers airbag)
