Re: New Bell (ooh errr)

Maybe they've set the sensitivity rate too high at the factory. Mine only goes off when you open the door.

But will it work on a Fiat Stilo
I went to loads of places to get an extra fitted for my alarm and they all said that Fiats are really hard to tap into if there's an exsisting system fitted.. Maybe they were all just lazy gits

Re: New Bell (ooh errr)

Not sure if FIAT treat their alarms like their CD Changers (i.e. have custom firmware) but they tend to use Meta alarms so it may be worth finding a Meta dealer and asking them what will/won't link into a Stilo's existing system.

Re: New Bell (ooh errr)

The Meta (Fiat fit) ones are excellent, never had a problem in years & fitted hundreds of them.Ultrasonics adjust themselves although you can override this & turn adjustment up/down but the setting they come from the factory with needs no adjustment 99% of time.
Labour prices to fit are bit higher as interfacing with the locking requires drivers door panel to be removed & wires passed through thus extra fitting time.I'd ask to speak to technician first to make sure he has already fitted one to a stilo as can be bit awkward & to ensure you get a good installation...the key to any good alarm system.
