(T) rds - tmc how do's it work

hi
can anyone tell me how to activate the rds- tmc, in the book is say that it shows icons on the map, i get zit. i am runing on the computer 7.7 i will be going round to caledonia in Warrington tomos to try get an upgrade
(9.7)will this give me rds-tmc?

'Proper' RDC-TMC is not enabled on the Stilo Connect Nav+ / the Navtech CDs - i.e. it cannot receive traffic info data from an external source and use it for route planning/jam avoidance etc.

However, it can display petrol stations, car parks etc - but these only show up if you selected the option in the Nav screen / Other menus and if the map is set to either 100 or 200m scale.

If you need precise directions on how to turn this on, ask and I'll list it step by step.

I do get petrol, hotels etc on the map, its just lead me to believe there was more, never mind I’m sure I can live with it, looking at the forum there is a lot of problems with the aborth, I must be lucky or the fact that the car came from the fleet manager at Swinton may have something to do with it. Apart from me having to wait for the leather coming from the Far East due to the Sars breakout but that’s another story and having 7.7 version on my computer Every thing else works fine, top car for the money.
