As we know the ECU of the Stilo (on the 1.6 petrol at least) is sitting on top of the engine. That means that it has to deal with very high temperatures , not the best you can do to a PCB (last Friday the temp gauge reached 38 C here in Athens)
Having faced similar problems with a XBOX360 (increased temp makes the solder crack) I am thinking of relocating the ECU in the battery area inside the plastic cover.
Has anyone done anything similar and is there a clever way to do that?
Thanx!!!
