Have looked a similar threads but none exactly have same issues as mine and i need help!

My 2004 Fiat Stilo 1.4 has been parked up completely since end of feb (awaiting MOT) and for 6 months prior to that has only been used for approx 10 miles per week.

MOT failure was due to brakes and coils and nothing enginewise.

Car was running perfectly only problem was that when i tried to start it on monday the battery was flat (3 months sitting on drive). Got it jump started and immediately engine management light went on. Went for MOT, passed, but when started car both engine management light and oil pressure sensor failure light are illuminated constantly. Anyway, drove 5 miles home, next morning car wouldn't start, jump started it again, got it to garage who tested the battery and confirmed it was goosed. Bought new one, they fitted it and after reading this forum and understanding that a lot of these faults can be linked to poor battery, expected the 2 faults to have diappeared, but they are still there. Have checked the oil - fine, car running fine, no noises from the engine.

Can anyone help or give advice.

Remove the battery and give it a good charge over night.

If there are no longer any faults the management light will disapear after 3 or 4 restarts followed by a short journey(15 min+).

If they are still there then you may have problems you need to solve.
