NO...

the 'diode fix' DOES NOT WORK due to the complexity of the stilos system...

it is debatable whether the 'resistor fixes' work as a permenant fix.

i can completely understand why people are shooting any modification to the OCS system down... if you do decide to do the modification it is on your own head and at your own risk. nobody on this forum or the forum itself will take any responsibility for any mishaps, injuries, damage or deaths that may or may not occur from this modification.

Hello
Sorry for English but I use google translator. I read this thread and decided to make the scheme a resistor. But the dock waving silicone shell OCS sensor damaged transistor which is on the board. As far as I could read on it says FZT751, but I'm not really sure and I would ask if anyone has the opportunity to look at what's on it. I will be plural

google search shows FZT751 and FZT751TA are available but both have the same enclosure markings of 'FZT751'

Hi friends,
As many of you and I have airbag problem with passenger seat.
I read a lot ot themes and now I'm so confused what to do.
I want ask you which is the correct sheme with resistors emulating occupied passenger seat and is there anything dangerous in this solving the problem?
Please help me.

i have done the option in post 8 and can confirm, that for me, it did not work... airbag light is still on havent had time rework it but im now looking atthis

And what about this sheme?
Does anybody tried it?
Is there something dangerous if I make it?
What type of resistors are used here?

4700 or 5600 ohm resistors where the black squares are

40000 ohm where the red squares are (probably have to use a 39000 and a 1000 inline when i looked i could only find 39k or 41k)

try to get .1% or .05% resistors to ensure accuracy (purple or grey band respectively)

I too tried the diode/resistor mode didn't work I've just ordered the resistors now and I'll give that a try

resistor mod worked perfectly, OH very happy not to have the car beeping at her every time it starts, thanks everyone!

Hello!

I have a couple of questions regarding passenger airbag:

Stilo made after 2004 does not have the OCS senzor?

How airbag ecu "knows" if is an occupant on the passenger side? By seatbelt? If it's fastened or not? Because i saw that on the seatbelt coupling are 2 wires...but no indication led for pass seatbelt in the dashboard.

Thank you!
