OK, I got round to it and fitted some...
15quid for the kit on ebay, there's loads of different but very similar ones. I got black, because I didn't think I'd get a close enough match to Cosmo Blue, and there's a big black rubber strip anyway, so it wouldn't look odd. Got the buzzer only style kit, not really interested in silly displays on the dashboard.

Anyhow, drilling the bumper at four evenly spaced points about an inch below the rubber strip was no problem - however, there are a couple of sort of tabs from the rubber strip that coincided exactly with my two middle holes - not a huge issue, they pushed back a bit behind the hole, didn't make any difference to the fitting etc... but bear in mind that's going to happen if you put the outer sensors in line with the seam below the door edges and space the middle ones equidistant.

Ran all the wires back to the bottom left of the tailgate opening - undid the underneat bolts on the bumper to route the wires easier, and used a bit of polyester cord to drop down between the body and the bumper so I could fish the cables back... then routed all under the trim into the space behind the flap at the left of the boot, and located the cotrol box and buzzer there.

Took the earth feed from the black connector on the light cluster, and then came the slightly tricky bit... the reversing light feed. Eventually, I took a long wire from the back of the revrsing light in the tailgate, tucked it round under the trim until it got to the centre of the top of the tailgate, then had to run it the two or three inches over to the rubber trunking stuff that the rest of the wires run through, after which it easily tucked around the trim back round to the control box.
So the only visible sign inside the car is a short run of wire at the top of the inside of the tailgate, which is not visible unless the gate is open and you go looking.

I'll try to get around to taking some pics if I get the chance, but all in all, it's a pretty straightforward, simple DIY job, took about an hour. Worst part is drilling that first hole in the bumper!

I know this is an old topic but considering doing this on my own multiwagon.... Just wondered if you had any problems with the sensors picking up the ground? The bumper sits quite low on these (for loading) but i think minimum recommended height for most aftermarket kits ive seen is 500mm for sensors. Are you able to confirm?
