after much playing, reinstalling the stack (harder than it sounds) worked, i now have a fully functioning Bluetooth management software set.....but....the connection is so skittish its unreal....i have to "re-connect" every minute or so, and when trying to connect to the can network i get "timed out" error...

i bought the same dongle as shadey but a different elm interface, could this be dud?

What sort of proximity are you using it with? Could be either side losing connection really no way to easily tell :/

i am having vagcom cable and HTC mega. i am not able to get connection and have tested all the available listed port. i am using the usb to mini usb converter to connect to my mega.

There's only 4 pin outs on a standard USB(VAG.com cable) there is 5 pin outs on a mini usb. The ground is pin 4 on a standard usb, the ground is pin 5 on a mini usb. Does your usb to mini usb converter allow for this, could be your problem?

how did you get FES to connect via the bluetooth adaptor?

my bluetooth adaptor says it supports all protocalls but i'm not sure that means it's ELM327 or not, would be nice if it was though i'm dying to sync my new sporting clocks

Problem "Data File Error" with Fes Mobile 2.0

Hello Yani,
I've got Fes Mobile 2.0 Registered with Windows Mobile 6.1,on a VGA Device (400x240).
In Demo Mode, trying to connect, I've no problems connecting to Lybra 1.9JTD (obviously I can't acces to my errors code of my car).
In Registered Mode, I've got same problems of Shadeyman, with "error exception"and "data file error",during connection.
Is it the same bug problem of VGA Device?
You solved it with a fix on Fes Mobile 1.0.1, but I can't find this setup...
