I've tried that. It's "AF Switching" which I believe is for retuning the station when you exit a particular area. For example when driving down the M1 the radio will keep you tuned to Radio1 all the way down.
Or maybe I'm just confused and thick.[:o)]
I've tried everything anyway, and the damn thing always starts up when I stick the key in.

Wow hold on!
The auto switching (ON/OFF) is not a feature that works when you stick the key but when you stick out the key. When ON and you turn of the car the radio turns off too. When OFF the radio stays on after switching off the car for about 20 minutes.
That's all!! :D

The remote fob should close the windows on all models, mine is a Feb 02 1.2 active and it works.

It depends how long yo keep the button pressed.

As well as closing the windows and sunroof with the LOCK CAR button on the remote, when you hold the UNLOCK CAR button down for longer than normal, the windows will also OPEN (don't have sunroof so don't know if that opens too!)

It does close the skywindow well, i only realised by trying it out after reading this and it opens if you keep the unlock on the remote as well, another useful toy.......

I got my new 1.8 Stilo last week. When I open and close the driver's window I hear a very loud squeeky noise. At the same time the window slows down when it reaches the top like it struggles. Is that normal? Does anyone else had this problem?

Doesn't sound normal to me.

After rain or washing there can be a squeak as the window closes but this is just wet rubber mouldings against the glass. The window itself is very quick smooth and quiet so it sounds like something is not right.

Ask your dealer to check it out...

Actually the noise appeared after a rainy Sunday... However it's very loud so I don't think it's only that. I'll ask the dealer to check it. Overall I'm happy with the car.

I went to the dealer and they worked on it. They sprayed it with silicon spray and fiddled with the plastic for some time. Now it's OK but I guess that the noise will return with the Swiss rain :) I guess the plastic is still stiff and it might losen up with time.
