Notice that there is a gap between the two plates.
This gap permits the motor to keep turning even when the blind has reached the full closed position. This causes the noise that is heard in the video that ezdanny has posted (youtube.com/watch?v=XLl7k3fRVlM )

Skywindow fixed!!!!!!!
Many thanks to velissariouc, who gave me the key to solve the problem!!! I´ve found a skywindow in a local junkyard, changed the part in the picture and ready to enjoy again of my great roof!!!

Thanks again man!!!!
 
Hi gyus , after looking at the topic i believe i have exactly the same problem.the youtube video has 100% match with my problem.so this weekend is devoted to fixing the d*amn plate :).since there are no electronic or motor problems i believe this is the key to my problem aswell.so guys if this it i am gonna have to dhl you at least a :beer: to show my gratitude
 
Ok need an advise.the plate was deformed.fixed it.now there is no movement from the blind.the terrible noise comes from the front engine.just a week the used to close , but when i try the reset - no movement.any clue why?
