General FIAT Connect Nav V.12.2 FIRMWARE UPDATE

When you first switch the CN+ on, there will be a number in the bottom right corner of the blue Fiat screen.

The map for France comprises of 2 CDs, France Nord & France Sud. The latest version is 2010/2011 v2.

It appears that Fiat or Navteq are not producing any later maps for the Stilo.

Hi guys,
Inspired from the post of Soepie, I decided to risk and update my CN+ on Croma 2006.
So, I did everything according to the procedure. It accepted the "code" (3-4-5-6->>) and continued.
But when it reached attached screen 1, after several seconds the screen start to move and I had the screen 2 (which is moving like on TV).
I shut down by pressing the button and start from the begining the whole procedure.
And after 4-5 tries, my CN+ don't want to shut down anymore. It stays with black display, all buttons are illuminated and no any reaction.
The only way to shut down is by removing the cables from back side.
When I reconnect the cables, the flaher program starts again and everything repeats.
There's no way to pull out the CD. I wrote the ISO file at the slowest speed (10x) of my recorder. Then I wrote another CD on my older computer at first speed (1x). I mechanically change the disk inside the CN+ device by open it and put the second one (written on 1x speed). But there's no any change in its behaviour.
Probably my CN+ is already dead?
Is there any possibility to revive it or I have to buy another unit or some aftermarket navigation system?

Today I had the same problem. I allowed it after a lot of energy. I guess the problem was poor burned update CD. I used another CDRW drive at low speed (8X) and the update was successful.

Is that the connect NAV+ for the stilo or croma?

I know its an old post but maybe someone needs some info.
When I saw that i can do some update on my con nav I didnt even bothered on reading all the posts, I just downloaded the first page attachment and put it directly on my Croma.

Every time I've got to the message from the image below; the unit restarted it self over and over until I've pressed and kept pressed 3-4-5-6 buttons and the ffw or tel buttons (I've pushed them both, dont know witch worked)

This is the result in the you-tube video I made:
youtu.be/Zs1xYtsIx24

*I've done this while the engine was on!!!

One more thing; If you're asking if i'll do it again the answer is NO, it doesent worth the risk

Do you think the firmware works on Fiat Bravo with connect nav?

May be it's time to tell, that I fixed my problem using an original firmware CD several months ago.
A friend of mine found it from somewhere for me.
The whole procedure lasted few minutes.

I would ask if someone can put a link for setup CD for Fiat Croma 2006, my version of navi conect is
SW version 01N194L4011.3
HW version 05035502841.8
I would like to change the language for voice commands that are now in Italian to English
