was anybody able to shortern their gear knobs without the drastic measures of 'hacking' the stem off? (wouldnt hacking the stem off affect the reversing gear selection thingy-majiggy that pulls up?!?!?)

pictures would be greatfull if you have done so

i wouldn't adivse hacking the gear knob stem to make it shorter! To do this most people get something like a B&M short shifter, i've contacted them and asked them about one for the stilo as there isn't one avaliable and it dosen't look like there will be either. So im affraid were stuck with other gear sticks as is and long throw between gears

so there is no aftermarket short shifter available for the stilo!? and it seems no way to 'modify' it either? (from what i gatherd in the earlyer posts someone HAS done it!?)
