Hi guys
I have Stilo Abarth 2002 and the heater blower isnt working.
When I press the up and down buttons the graphics work but no blower.

What stages of diagnostics do I need to go through to narrow down the fault?

Thanks

Would a blocked pollen filter stop the fan from working completely?

Dont really want to go through the hassle of the fiddly pollen filter change if the problem isnt related

Cheers for the reply

Dont think its that one either

My heater blower fan isnt working at all. The heater works all the graphics on the main screen work just no blower. :-(

Only fuse I could find heater blower related was ok. There was only one of them.

Unless there are more?

if the fuses look ok or you've tried a replacement and its still not having it, the next stage i would look at is to locate the fan, disconnect it from its control lines and test it by running it off the battery. if its not having it the fans busted.

the only thing i dont know is where the fan lives on the stilo and if its a dash out job. there might be other things to check before getting this far into dismantling.

thats what I was thinking, Thanks

Next question anyone know where the heater fan is and the easiest way to get at it to test it?

Can anyone confirm what the part number for the dual zone climate control motor fan is? Tried searching, but nothing definite as there's 3 types always mentioned :(

Looking at eper it's probably now part 77363244 - but anyone know for sure if this is the type with the 4 pin connector and built in speed module as shown here:

https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/90245-climate-control-faulty-fan-6.html?p=1886233

Guesing the other motors are for non-aircon and manual air con (parts 77363823 and 77363824) and both 2 pin?

Hello,

Had same problem, blower function is on a diffrent fuse (dont remember the Fnumber but its the fusebox left in dashboard. Then the fuse on the right last one (below right).

greetz,

Kenny

If you have a RHD car, the fuse box is on the right side, and is mounted upside down of a LHD car. The OBD socket will be at the top of the fusebox in a RHD car, and at the bottom of the fusebox in a LHD car.

So you must propably flip the instruction above. :D

Did you ever find the correct part code?

Yes, it is part 77363244 - finally got it from the dealers. I've been sorting other stuff, but I do have some pics and info that might help which i'll post in a bit.

It was only on the 3rd attempt that they got it right. They said if I ordered a particular part number, then I couldn't return it if it was wrong for my car - so I let them order it in for my VIN number and took the old one in each time to compare
