| Engine Fault Went to accelerate yesterday and engine felt like it was firing on three cylinders then 'Engine' fault icon came up with a little spanner sign and the EOBD amber light is also stuck on. It's going down to the dealers later today just wondered if anyone had any ideas? 2003 1.6 Dynamic Black 3Dr Sat Nav Sky Roof

| Re: Engine Fault i had this same day I picked it up. First time they resetted my board computer. I got it again next day, and then they took it in and check it up. Later, they called me and said that it's been repaired, and that there was some pipe that's providing fuel that was bended. Oh, I forgot, it happend's both times at the same conditions, speed 125 km/h 4th gear and accelerating.

| 5vp3r m0d | Re: Engine Fault Sounds like 'another' coil pack that has packed up - seems to be getting quite frequent now amongst Stilo owners on here I had mine fixed recently, when no 4. went - done under warranty. The replacement was slightly different, and even the AA man commented.

| Italian Stallion | on FIATs are notorious for packing up, it's about time they sorted this problem! I had two go on a Brava and the AA man that collected me on both occasions said it's the same thing every time he picks up a broken Bravo/a. FIART, sort it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: (0) | Re: The coil packs............................... Anyone noticed a trend in coil packs failing? Or is it the same unit used on all Stilo's? I recall 1 Abarth, 1 on a 1.2 and a few 1.6's. Be worth while for some clever mod to collate the numbers of each? Just for info purposes if nowt else.

| 5vp3r m0d | Re: Engine Fault So not a coil pack?! I will try and do some collation anyway! Also, I want to try and tidy up and merge important threads, and make them sticky [I did the 9.8 one earlier, within Technical] - any suggestions, please PM links to me and I will do my best
