Technical MAF sensor problem? (Stilo Selespeed kangarooing)

I didn't replace anywthing yet. I was just investigating when I saw your tip.

They did bleed it and replaced the oil, but they didn't flush it like you did. We only had one bottle. After that and all the examiner calibrations bells and whistles, the car remains exactly the same as before, so I don't think the oil fix applies to me.

Next thing I'm changing is the Air flow sensor, as there was some errors recorded.

I've read about that solenoid fix but I don't know what it does...
No errors on selespeed. Only Maf errors (air flow) and phase variator (could be, but I don't have any other symptom related to the variator).

airflow sensor could be the problem. But the variator can also cause it.

Maybe you can try to resolder the connections on top of the variator. I read in another post somewhere that it also curred the judder problem for him. Maybe if you search for that you 'll find the topic.

keep us updated!

*kick* to get new life into this topic..

As i fixed my kangarooing with the original oil replacement, another member of our local stilo forum in the Netherlands has the same problem as me. As we got together in order to fix the problem, we changed the oil and the problem remains with his selespeed, so this must have another cause. What we tried yet;

- Change to original Tutela CS Speed oil
- Changed EV0 solenoid
- Replaced TDC sensor and clutch speed sensor
- checked wiring
- cleaned connector to selespeed actuator harness
- Resolder the variator cap connections
- No errors in selespeed ECU and engine ECU
- Selespeed Pressure is OK (45 ~50 bar)

Problem remains and stays the same (heavy kangarooing when hot), when we replaced the selespeed ECU for an old ECU that i had lying around, the problem seems a lot less but it is still there.

Maybe someone has any tips/advice which we can look at next? i refuse to believe that it is the clutch as it has 110.000km on the clock and no strange sounds or slipping.
