Dead Selespeed

Last week on my way home from work I noticed that my car wasn't selecting gears till the second or third time. This very quickly got worse and worse until in the middle of a Milton keynes round about the car selected nutral, during rush hour and wouldn't select anything....!

The RAC recoverd me and I took the car into Perries the next day.
They looked at the car and to cut a long story short an "actuator" (what ever that does) had gone wrong and caused the gearbox to eat itself from the inside out. Thank god for the 3rd year warranty otherwise it would have cost £2767 ouch.

Has anyone else had problems with the Selespeed? My cars on a 52 plate and covered just over 50K

(oh just a quick one, anyone know who owns a black stilo, 1.8 I think with a big boure Jap style exhaust. Only I creamed in that morning and he took great pleasure driving past 3 time to have a look. Man I felt like a prat...)
