| Grand Stilismo | Re: Loss of power at cold start up Thanks for your Interest guys - This morning she drove lovley (It was a little warmer) I let her tick over for a few mins then drove off to work. Shes running nice - I think it maybe a sensor thing cutting the revs back when its very cold. I'm starting to get over the new car Paranoia now and really starting to enjoy the car I'll update if theres any more problems. Still want a remap tho

| Re: Loss of power at cold start up Bo_select! I know what you mean about the loss of power. Mine sort of loses power intermittently - like a cough and splutter - but no actual noises - this is at least until the temp gauge is back to vertical position - then it goes well - I too will try with the letting it run for a bit.

| Re: Loss of power at cold start up Hi I have a steep drive about 1in 4 and when i start up in the morning (the car not me) it will hardley pull off the drive without reving the b*ll*cks off it and thats not good on a cold engine. 1600 active stilo 03 it does get better after about 50 yards any ideas have only had the car a few weeks

| Re: Loss of power at cold start up Sorry forgot to say that the engine dies as though the fuel is cut off but it does'nt stop. Is there anybody who knows what the fault is as i have looked up past topics but this is the nearest i could find.

| Re: Loss of power at cold start up Hi all, well i had the battery checked as suggested by stripey stilo but was told it was ok So i decided to take 'deckchair5' advice and have a look in the throttle body to see if it was clean Started engine up and sprayed it in that did it Now the down side, the engine managment light has come on but i am waiting for my obd 2 to come then i can hopefully turn out the light Good luck to DECKS and MSCORTAR with their work on EXAMINER 5.5 and i hope it will be available to all.
