| Auto setting/locking alarm? Can anyone shed any light as to under what conditions the Abarth locks it's own doors as mine seems to have a mind of it's own. sit in a beergarden car in sight & in full sun want to leave it unlocked with windows down. No chance! car locks it's self & sets factory alarm, you know the rest it's a real pain in the ass. As for the new software update I was totally in the dark about this subject until reading it on this forum. I checked mine (bought in dec 2002 Chrissy pres from the wife) & I can honestly say that up to press we have not had one single problem with the running or cold engine kangarooing so I'm not updating as I can put up with the very occasional shriek from the sat Nav. Yellow Stilo Abarth. 17" 3 spoke Alloys, CD Changer & Full Spec.

| Mine has the alarm but have never had these problems. It only locks the doors when driving above 12mph (I think). Fiat Stilo Abarth 3dr. Loden Green, Beige Leather, Sky Window, Cold Climate Pack, 17" Alloys, CD Changer, 260w 8 Speaker Stereo.

| Paparrazi | You'll find that if you unlock the car and do not open any of the doors, it will re-lock them all approx. 30 seconds later, as a (sensible) security measure. If you want to have the doors stay open, open a door and then close it - it'll then stay open until you lock it again. -- Neil Barker

| My stilo's autolocking is behaving in a weird way. When i unlock the doors in 30 secs is autolocking (nothing weird with that). When i activate the deadlock though (by double clicking the lock on the remote) and then unlock the car (single click) the car does not autolock. When i unlock the car by double clicking the unlock button then the car autolocks in 30 secs. Is that a bug or a feature? Andreas (CY) Fiat Stilo Black 1.6 3Door Dynamic, 16''Alloys

| Does anyone know if it is possible to have the remote alarm on the Abarth set to autoclose the windows and Sky roof. I see in my vehicle set-up on the Connect+ that there is 'autoclose' but this feature is greyed-out and I can't seem to be able to access it to activate it, is there a software upgrade or activation disk for this feature ? thanks
