| Soft mute function/ Cd Player Apparently there is a function in the cd palyer called "soft mute". It is supposed to gradually turn the volume down when you press the pause button or something like that. Does it work? Cause it has never worked on my CD player/tuner. pantelis Fiat Stilo 80 Active, no alloys, no power tuning, love the sky window though!

| Soft mute can be heard if you switch sources, say from radio to cd, it fades out from one source to the other. The mute button soft mutes the radio but not the cd changer, on that, it simply puts the cd on 'pause'. The description in the manual is more than vague. YellowRhino

| Well ain't that a shame! I had my CD player changed ( not because of the soft mute problem though) and it still does nothing! no Softness while muting!:p i wrote an e:mail to Visteon and see what hey say about it. To be honest i di not think i will get a reply. pantelis 2002 Stilo 80 Active, no alloys, no power tuning, tinted windows, love the sky window though!
