Hey all

hey all just registered on the forums due to the imminent arrival of my new Stilo.

Got a few probs though, my old car had a private reg and its now on the Stilo, but cause the old car's v5 had to be sent off i cant sell it yet, so i can't pick the Stilo up cause we dont have enough room to leave it at my house.... i have to wait 8 weeks maximum before i can get it.

My new Stilo is a 3month old ex-demo, but the sales guy has gone to work on it, its a 1.9JTD Yellow Stilo, all colour coded with new 17s put on and full leather interior can't wait for it

Again Hi all

Stu

Re: Hey all

Hey Stu, what a cool name

Nice choice of car and colour as well, an ideal candidate for a 155/170 bhp conversion

Re: Hey all

Nice quick replies

Ye going to be a long few weeks, i've sent a complaint to dvla about why it takes 8 weeks to change a reg on a v5, so should be a little quicker. As for the Stilo got alot planned for it:

1> 170ecu
2> 19s
3> Looking at full onboard pc with touch screen (In Car PC, Entertainment Centre and GPS Navigation @ http://www.i-c-e-blue.com/cool.htm) in near future
4> Better looking dashboard - looks like Nasa's spacestation

Should be a fun few months .... after this next few cr@p ones

As for DVLA =

Re: Hey all

Hi and welcome Uve got quite a few plans then ay, good luck! (19" would be real cool, and the 170ecu is a must on the JTD few guys on here got the 155, but not the 170 yet!)

Re: Hey all

I do like the arospeed velocity, i think they would suit the stilo.. I was thinking about the arospeed flight for myself in 18s, but they really need a big brake conversion to look good and for that i will need to wait till i change my insurance company as im on my mod limits.

Re: Hey all

I doubt writting a letter of complain will speed up the process mate. DVLA do actually do a hell of a lot, i'm sure they are fairly big resources wise, but even so. I've just waited 6 weeks for a new V5, i was quite pleased with that. Just let them do their job. I bet if you get your updated V5 in 6 weeks you won't write a letter of compliment to them.
