hi lads i'm a marea w/ender owner for the last 2 yrs and i'm well pleased with my jtd 110sx on a y 2001 plate ,,

ok we're thinking of changing cars in the next 1/2 yrs and with my wife being disabled and we have a pet staffy we need an estate so my question is this are there any ex marea owners out there who are now stillo owners as i need to know are they as costly to run as our marea etc i love my 110 sx jtd it's the best engine i've had in yrs i presume the jtd's in the stillo's are the same etc. ok lads sorry to butt in on your section but i do like the look of the stillo's hence my info request thanks in advance andy..

There may not be so many ex Marea owners but there are quite a few ex Bravo owners who can make comparisons but it depends what you're asking

are they as costly to run as our marea
Without knowing what your Marea running costs are and whether you simply mean fuel/oil/tyres etc or total running costs including maintenance? As Marea to Stilo is a big jump up in technology with lots more gadgets then you have to expect more electrical problems and hands on maintenance required. The Bravos and Mareas were the end of an era in that respect and all cars moved to much more computerised systems but that brings its own problems

Hi,

I,m an ex brava jtd owner and bought a mw jtd in March.
Stilo is much better , which you would hope being a newer model lol.
Engines are pretty much the same.
As mentioned on many other threads be prepared to do the rear bushes at some stage. They are around £50 for the pair and about 6-8 hours labour to fit.
I payed my money took my chance and havent regretted it for one second.
you would expect to get an average of 45-50mpg so pretty cheap on fuel!
Anything else you want to know then fire away.

Cheers for now
