Hey I am havign a lot fo trouble with my electric windows in my 2002 2dr stilo active.

Both windows stop working together and when the buttons are pushed the is ticking sound that comes from the computer in the door card and the T13 relay.

replaced relay with no luck. windows randomly start working but then will randomly cut back out again and noise ensues.

My mind is drawn towards some sort of lack of power issue to the window motors....

Evertyhing else on the door controls work and are lit just the windows controls are not.

any help would be greatly appreciated

And you'd be right:)

You need to find out why T13 is going on/off. T13 has a constant live power feed from battery (so be careful) and the relay should be energised all the time with ignition on. So if it's clicking then there is interruption in either battery power supply or the earth feed from body computer

hmm, could it possibly be due to components running of the 12+ feed behind the hu?

I have thing like guages etc running of a 12v live?

Yes it could. Disconnect them and see what happens

If you have parking sensors, electric adjustable seats or elect rear windows then the luggage compartment junction B45 also feeds off the supply to relay T13

serious bump needed here guys really need to find the cause of this. randomly the windows will start working so i put them down cause i was hot.....then starts raining and get the bloody thing up!!!!

which wire supplies power to the electric windows?!
there power to the left mirror but not the right, buttons all light up and locking button works.

its got to be a break down somewhere before t 13 i assume if t13 is ticking as well and the relay is brand new. can i bypass the relay/ bring a 12v to somewhere to give a 12v to the electric windows?

which wire in the door plug is the electric window live or is it in the control box in the door?

really really need help guys, car interior is getting soaked

Have you disconnected these extra gauges you mention you installed?
Have you tried disconnecting battery for an hour so the can bus nodes might get back into the correct order?

Electric windows take a lot of power so you have to be careful bypassing systems. Power goes to the door node and then the node needs to be told what to do either directly for the same side controls or from the can bus

M66 driver's door node
M67 passenger door noode

Power comes in on connector D pin 8 for both

I got a strange problem with driver's side electric window. When the car has been siting under the sun and the inside temp is high it doesn't work. I can hear the click sound when pressing the switch but no movement. The funny thing is that the passenger's side window works perfectly.
When the temp drops or when I start the car in the morning both windows work well, although the driver's one doesn't seem to move as smoothly as the other one.
Any ideas?
