Hi everyone. It has been long since I last posted!
I have done some "things" in my Stilo and I thougth I should share them with you. Of course the "project" is not finished, but it is close to finish...
The target of the project:
Make a car just for the circuit and have some fun few weekends...
So the condition of the car is...
INSIDE
* All the seats have been removed.
* 2 Sparco seats have taken their place.
* 4-points Sparco seatbelts.
* MOMO steering wheel.
* Removed the NAV+.
* Removed the OEM instruments.
* Full custom instrument panel.
* Fire extinguisher.
* The battery moved from the engine bay to the inside of the car.
* Master power switch.
Some photos...
TECHNICAL
* If some of you remember, there is a Garrett 25 turbo.
* Removed the 5th injector.
* Removed the OEM ECU.
* Removed the parallel ECU.
* 4 larger injectors installed.
* Haltech ECU installed.
* The electrical throttle has been removed and the "old school" wire has taken its place.
* The interior of the engine has been cleaned and enlarged (now is about 1.800cc).
* Forged pistons installed.
* Enhanced piston-springs installed.
* Upgraded camshaft.
* New metallic flange.
* Brembo 4-pot brakes (they were there before).
* Gearbox from a Punto MK1 GT.
* Custom Bilstein PSS9 suspension, fully adjustable.
I have not taken any photos yet. I will add some during this week.
OUTSIDE
* The body kit is the same as before.
* Rear Lexus type tails with black interior.
* Front headlights from a Punto MK2 with angel eyes and black interior, custom-installed.
* New paint-job (half yellow-half matte black).
* Matte black painted wheel.
The painting starts from tomorrow and will be ready by Friday. So the photo with the black color that follows, is an attempt to do something like photoshop...
Photos...
(kind of photoshop)
(the real thing - just a while ago)
Closing this post (it was about time!)...
The project will finish when the paint-job is going to finish by the end of this week. Then the car has to do slowly about 1.000km, for the new parts of the engine, and then programmed to operate at 1.5bar. We believe that the output will be about 300PS... Stay tuned!...
