Ok, i've got some good engine vibrations at idle speed, that shake the car pretty well.

I already have the new gearbox mount installed.

I've got them since the last visit to the garage, when I've changed:
- flywheel
- clutch

Is it caused by:
- flywheel (used one, but got it from a good working car from scrapyard)
- non balanced engine (they took out 2 of 4 engine mounts during clutch replacement)

At idle speed(850) it is visually seen that engine shakes/vibrates pretty well and as the rpm goes up(950 +++) vibrations disappear completely.

p.s. according to examiner, the car is error free

My JTD does pretty much the same thing and has had none of the work yours has had, so perhaps it's just the way things are:confused:
I don't recall it ever being particularly smooth at tick-over, but it is a diesel.

If the vibration was not there before the new flywheel and clutch were fitted but is there now it would suggest the garage have fitted an incorrectly balanced flywheel and/or clutch.

Could also be that the mating surface of the flywheel to the crankshaft was not adequately cleaned.

I would say flywheel. How many miles had it done in the old car? DMF's certainly dont last forever although Stilo ones seem better than a lot of other makes.

Back again to the same garage - no way, it wil cost me a lot ... again.
Will go to other one, but first to sort out all possibilities.

If it's a DMF, then i suggest it will shake/vibrate the engine at higher rpm.

Once rpm goes to 950-1000 all vibrations disappear completely.

then it's either bad balance (flywheel) or bad burn due to air mixture being incorrect.. this is basic but.. why don't you give the throttle body a good clean? After a reset this is likely to be a problem..

Just a thought when the flywheel was replaced maybe the crank sensor took a knock, might be worth a look for any damage.
The JTD does shake a little on idle especialy when cold.
When I first start mine the bottom of the o/s front wing rattles against the iner wheel arch, sounds scary, but as soon as the engin warms up it’s gone, if i increase the idle to 950 it’s gone.
I should fix it, maybe when the weather warms up.

It is a JTD. The throttle body is not like a petrol one. It wont make any difference.
Correct, no difference.

It's definitely not the DMF.
A non balanced DMF will cause vibrations all the time and especially upon acceleration.

So it's up to the 3 of 4 engine mounts or as another possibility - injector/s.

I did the back fuel test and they are just fine.
Did a log while driving and parameters are all good, there is nothing that should worries me

Hello..please someone help me...my stilo 2001..and i have some strange engine vibrations..it's totally not dual mass flywheel, because vibrations was also with single mass flywheel..everything in engine is original, just blocked egr..
all car frame starts shaking on idle..when sitting inside a car on idle vibration sound fell on the ears..steering wheel it's not shaking really much..just rear view mirror on glass.. exhaust joint its new..timing belt replaced..all filters new..on the ecu scan everything it's fine..of course just egr...and some times when accelerating slowly from 1200 to 1900 rpms on the steering wheel filing vibration, shake just like engine not getting enough fuel...but sometimes everything it's ok. only vibrations on idle not disappears..if clutch pressed nothing change.:confused:
