OK this is going to be a sore point.[V]

Due to getting a company car I need to sell my excellent Abarth. But, no one wants it???. I've tried the dealerships, Autotrader, Sale sign in window etc but nothing I've only been asking £11000. I've heard that bottom book price is all that anyone will give, that means for me £8000 for a £15500 car thats 9 months old and done 10,000 miles???.

This of course is very depressing for Abarth owners everywhere.

I am sorry to hear about the price u are being offered for your abarth.

The one that we are considering buying has 8000 miles and is 18mos old. Price is £9,500.Obviously the garage will have there mark up on that.

so annoying isn't it. The car we are trading in that we bought Oct 02 has already lost £3k, grrr

The car IMHO is the best thing to come from fiat in years. The Abarth look very good especially in Sprint Blue and the level of trim you get is fantastic. To be honest I dont really want to sell it but it's just sitting on my drive doing nothing due to the company car.

I think I'm one of the lucky ones with regards to the gear box probs, but why fiat never fitted a 6 speed manual box to this car I'll never know. It would be one of the best selling hot hatches ever.

If your thinking of getting one go for the HiFi upgrade It sound great and its good value.

Is there not a cash alternative to ditch the company car and help run your private car? (A friend of mine recently did this.)

Sadly this avenue has been tried but the company is quite large and inflexible on this matter. But The wifes company is soon adopting that policy so all may not be lost..

i believe the abarth only came as a 3 door....

No the Abarth came with 3 or 5 doors but the 3 door looks by far the best. Mines the 3 door see the ad in the for sale section of this Forum.
