My outside temperature guage is reading 10 - 15 deg higher than actual temp it varies and can be sometimes worse and sometimes it is OK. . Anyone seen this or know how to cure it.

Thanks.

I'm suffering a similar problem on my 05 MW. The outside temp display went to dashes last week and over the weekend, gradually lost all the electric functions on the drivers door (first operation of the passenger window, then night lighting and now all mirrors, windows and central lockin!) Does any one know if all these functions and outside temp are routed through the door ECU? What is odd is that the alarm LED and door light (the red one at the bottom) remain on constantly.
I will check for any obvious wiring defects tomorrow - any tips for releasing the door connector?

Remove battery for 20 minutes or so, put back, problem should be solved. I got that as well. Central locking not working, not being able to pull down the rear windows, etc. :)

mine has always read about 12deg lower. I am always getting the ice on road warning even now. I just ignore it

Try removing the sensor and giving it a piece or wall love. I'm not sure if it's fully electronic or not. Maybe it just has one of those coils that contract and extend. I believe it's that, because mine sometimes doesn't work properly either, especially after going out of garages. In the garage - 21 degrees, outside 37-38, takes 15 minutes for it to react. A proper digital one would take a lot less. Or maybe? :)

Remove and the refit the 'A' pillar to door wiring harness (simply un plug it and then reconnect).

Common issue, happened on my Stilo every 6-8 weeks for some reason :p :)
