(T) connect nav software 11

i have to update to the version 11 posted but i keep getting an error but software 9.8 fully works

has anyone got the version 11 to work ??

Works perfectly on mine.
Not much difference though.
I flashed mine to get rid of the nasty Dutch safety setting.
We cannot enter an address while moving. I know it would be unwise for me to do that while driving, but any passenger.....
But again, all fixed in a flash!

afaik the v11 is a cracked version of the 9.8 version - there are no real improvements in this version.
9.9 is the latest official update.

where can i find the 9.9 and do you no what has being updated ??

There isnt any significant changes from 9.8 -> 11.0 that I have noticed. Unfortunately they dont come with a changelog or anything so there isnt an easy direct way to see the changes.

The one bit that has changed is the actual flasher software, but this may just provide more reliable flashing or support other flash parts as the same software is used to update the connectnav units found in the alfa 147 and GT.

I have also tried 9.9 which offered no noticable new features at all over 9.8. Its a shame really as they could have vastly improved things by removing the rubbish WAP browser and such to free up space.

If you diff the files there are changes to the code but nothing noticeable to the end user.

i guess you have to ask your dealer for v9.9 , haven't seen them on the internet....
I don't know exactly what has changed but it had something to do with UK language so an update might be useful for you.

What would be useful is "Maria" not telling me to turn right in ¾ of a mile when the turning is only 25 yards away.

I found this about 6 months ago, maybe more. I searched for majcn99, it came up with a polish forum iirc, but the link there is now dead. I was looking for older versions of the update discs to compare between them.

Works 100%, dont know of any advancements or changes though

I would recommend 9.9 personally, thats just my opinion though.

Just bought a 1.9 stilo dynamic, the satnav system doesnt seem to be working, its saying enter PUK code but to be honest I havent even got the car at the min its in for its MOT, its a 2004 car so will the updates you have on here be compatible?

Do I need to get all the updates in order or can I just go straight to 9.9

The PUK code will be for your phone SIM card. It means someone has entered an incorrect phone PIN too many times. You need to get the PUK code from your SIM card provider. If you remove the SIM card and press " ESCAPE " to the warning message, the rest of the unit should still work unless it has other problems.

I have updated from 7.6 to 9.8 before but some people have reported that they could only update in sequence.

Which version does the unit have now?

I have been a bit premature even asking really as the car is in the garage and I dont have all the paperwork with me, I will have to go through everything properly to check the version.

I took the card out of the slot (with a simcard in from the previous owner) and the unit seemed to be working but I havent even had chance to have a proper look at it all as yet.

Its more the updates I am bothered about than connecting my phone, so unless its something I need to do to use the system then I probably wont bother with the sim card.
