Drove back from meeting up with with a friend tonight and the mirrors were all dewed over.
Its ok I though, perfect opportunity to show off the heated door mirrors (we'd been talking about them).
Hit the rear screen heater button (this is how they are opperated is it not )
Drivers door mirror heated up and cleared, but passenger sides didn't. I've never used this function before (and never knew how effective it was ), so don't know if its normal for just the drivers side to work?
If no (which I'm in two minds about, because if its only been designed for one then I'd assume it'd be the drivers side) then what could be causing my passenger side one to fail? It moves about properly with the controls for moving the mirror angle about so am confused as to what it could be.
Does anyone know how to acess the plug for the door mirrors and know the wiring colour coding so I can see if there is a current going to the heater element?
Jon.
