hi everyone, i got some problem with my Fiat stilo abarth 2002,

there is a message comes up from the screen every time i start my car, it is Lower engine oil presurre, however i just put in a new 1 liter engine oil 1 months before, the mesage only appear when i start my car, afterwards it didnt comes up again, does anyone face to this problem?

it needs more oil, its a low oil warning, and if your getting it when sat still, it must be VERY low, i only got it on hard cornering and it needed a litre then so yours must need more than a litre.

mine would use a litre in a fornight (heavy right foot) and fiat told me its at least a litre every 1000 miles under normal driving conditions, more if you drive harder.

Yep, as red-devil says, it needs more oil! I was surprised at this when I got mine, it kept bleeping when I cornered hard. I do about about 500 miles a week and id say over 6 weeks itll go through 4 litres of oil. The dipstick is also a bit rubbish and it isnt always that easy to see how much you have in. Usually itll be nothing though!

Top it up and you should be fine!

i know it's just a typo but if you won't be checking your oil level at least every fortnight, engine will be next on your shopping list
