Nah.... you got about 10 - 15 cms there... except for the drifts.... or do you have VERY tall chimneys?
Dont exaggerate the UK is having its coldest, snowiest February in years! Dont spoil the moaning rights for us lol! :p

Hm... seems like I have to get some more proof. But we have winter tires, so traction isn't a problem - it's quite fun actually. Speed is the problem ofcourse, and people in SUVs that think they have bought a stay-on-the-road-in-high-speed-and-heavy-snow-bullet-proof car. :D

Lol nah Morty just winding you up...

No doubt you get huuuuge snowfalls there to be sure.

Know what you mean about 4x4 drivers who think they have bought cars that defy the laws of physics too!! :bang:

have a punto in the snow....

New to the forum so hope the attachment worked. The sharp eyed amongst you will notice the image is not a stilo but a germanic impersinator! My Stilo is in the workshop. Perfect timing with the current weather for a rear wheel drive replacement! On the Monday this was taken i decided to walk to work! :)

Stilo is fine with the correct winter tyres, M&S is a generic marking which can be placed on any tyre a manufacture wants to stick it on, without justification. What tyres have you got

hi we have loads of snow in folkestone kent snowed all day long took stilo out for a run went better then i thought would have taken pictures dont no how to load them on hear if some would like to tell me how to do it please(y)

i took both our mws out in the snow today, and i must admit the 1.6 horrible in the snow, even with the asr on getting traction was a royal pain, at one point we couldnt even get out of a small incline without a push. but the diesel with no asr manages to find traction much easier same incline and it pulled nicely with a lot less wheel spin, just shows what a little bit of extra weight does in slippery conditions.
before anyone says different both cars have the same tires on, infact the diesels tread is much lower than the petrol.
i orignally took the petrol but turned around when the drive was too dangerous, i did originally think the petrol would have been better because of the asr and also the heater is much better in that car.

I quite pleased with my Stilo JTD on the snow. If you could turn off ESP (VDC) it would be more fun, but with Pirelli Snowsport 215/45/17 XL tires, it handles pretty good. I only got one from my phone:

ESP does very little on snow or ice anyway, so being able to turn it off wouldn't make much of a difference.
