Replacement badge

I have just bought a Stilo Abarth and the scorpion badge on the boot is faded from the sun, where is it possible to get a replacement one from? I know there are various stickers on e bay but Id prefer it to be exactly the same as the original.

Is it worth asking at a fiat dealer?

Cheers if anyone can help, Im sure it will be the first of many questions i find about it haha.

Hi and welcome!

I just replaced my Abarth badge (and added two on the wings because I thought it looked bare) and I sourced mine from www.partsworld-uk.com

The link you want is:

http://www.partsworld-uk.com/shop/in...roducts_id=233

It's a useful site with loads of goodies for the Abarth driver. Enjoy!

Re: Replacement badge

Cheers mate thats fantastic, just what I was after.

Ive seen the grille on there too, its a slippery slope now haha.

Is there a good way of getting the old badge off without ripping half the boot lid away or is it just a case of carefully prising it off?

Thanks again,

MH

I'd avoid trying to prise it off... it won't work and you'll only end up damaging the paintwork.

I used some dental floss in a sawing action to cut through the backing of the badge and then used my nails to pick off the remnants whilst using some white spirits. Be careful with the white spirits, don't rub too hard, you don't need to as the spirit breaks the remnants down anyway.

I know what you mean about the slippery slope... I really dislike the Fiat badge on the car but until I can source some proper Abarth wheel stickers for my Blades, then there's just no point in trying to replace all the other badges...

I was gutted when AbarthBadges shut down... just as I was going to buy the badges in one big go

You could try the old credit card with sawing action, and once you're about a 3rd of a way through put a wide flat head screwdriver between the badge and the card and gently lift the badge up.

Re: Replacement badge

On the subject of Abarth badges the one I ordered from abarth badges for the boot has gone all funny and I need a new one, anyone know wher I can get em from?

They're the black ones with silver/white scorpion.

AbarthBadges shut down which was the best source of anything Abarth... well, badges at least

The best bet is E-Bay now but there's never alot on there
