Have a Search and you'll find many threads on this subject.

Mind you - don't think it's possible to get 1.2mpg from any Stilo - not even the thirsty Abarth

Re: 1.2 Mpg?

1.2 owner here, i got manchester to london and back on half a tank and got over 600 miles out of that tank, getting over 50mpg on the trip.

depending on my shifts im usually seeing 41mpg+ for getting to work and back on normal roads

Yep agree with the above, wifeys 1.2 on a 03 plate returns an average of 44mpg with very few long journeys.

Re: 1.2 Mpg?

Just on the subject I'm quite impressed that our 1.8 has never hit below 32 MPG on average........

Re: 1.2 Mpg?

my journey to work is 14 miles there and obviously 14 miles home. is it well serviced? a lot is to do with driving style.

i got 47mpg out of a megane 1.4 sport saloon today- but it was a lot harder to do than the stilo

Dunno mate but honestly its the wifes car so she drives sensibly but I give it some when I use it and its never been below 32 MPG .......34 max though but for the performance and our use I think its pretty damn good.
The 1.8 only really excels with revs...

Mines pretty much the same. It does a lot of cold starts for a 5 mile or so trip with a fair bit of traffic. Then I also give it a good rev when I'm bored stiff in the traffic. I get maybe 33MPG average then. When it's on a good run, I easily get 44MPG and I still give it a good rev when picking up the speeds from junctions/roundabouts.
