Pleased I found this forum.
Bought a 1.2 Active in Oct 02. Love the car - but have had a couple of probs with the handbrake.
First off in Dec it rolled backwards (on quite a steep slope - not in gear - should have learned lesson) into another parked car. No damage - took it back to dealers, tested ok.
Then last month, parked up on relatively flat surface (not in gear - lesson really learned now). Five minutes later it's rolled back and off the flat onto a steeper surface and into a wall. Damage - left rear light cluster and bumper smashed.
Back to different dealer - checked handbrake, needed adjusting. Back to dealer I'd bought it from - they denied any liability.
I bumped into another Stilo owner when out and asked whether he'd had any probs. Said his had rolled off his driveway during the night. Again - handbrake needed adjusting.
Has anyone had or heard of similar probs? Not including "making sure the handbrake is on" or "leave it in gear" I'd appreciate any advice on what I can/should do about this.
Thanks in advance
