Hey, ive got a 5 door stilo and i was thininking that the grill would look alot better without the fiat badge on it. is there somewhere i can get a standard looking grill just without the badge on it and as if the badge was never there, u know without the black circle of plastic its stuck onto?

Or if your not to keen on the DIY front, german ebay sometimes have ones ready to fit (y)

This is who i got mine from

yeh the DIY looks like something that i would screw up and would then need to buy one anyway.is the one from germany decent, like looks perfect? also you've got a 3 door, are they universal and will it fit a sdr? or are they different sizes?

Standard grille is the same for 3 and 5dr so will fit ok, its a bit delicate where the clips hold it to the car so just be careful when fitting it - you may need to paint over the centre part of the bumper that is normally hidden by the Fiat badge as it will show up through the b/less grille - mine did as its yellow:slayer: if you do go for the germany ebay just remember to add the correct postage to uk on top of the grille (y)

I've got the same one as Fiattech from the same place. It is a genuine Mattig grill as you can get from online stores in uk for £90+. They just import them from Germany anyway.
It is a good grill but the clips can be delicate as mentioned, i secured the upper edges (under bonnet lip) with two small self tappers as i broke a clip.

:D Yes hmmm i also carried out this 'mod' as well - due to said clip breakage.

No its easy to fit, its harder to get the old one off without mashing it. I did mine leaving the bumper on.
Unfortunately you are dealing with plastic, the clips are quite thin so can break as we've described.

Just put mine on. Was a bit awkward to get straightened and had to paint the back so it wouldn't show through which was a little nerve racking...

(first coat of 4, 2 black, 2 clear)

but looked good once it was done and aligned properly. I apologise for the quality of the pics, too sunny and badly parked car :p

...but essentially it looks the same as on the eBay link.

Had to get self tappers to hold it in place, but all looks decent especially for the money. Now, on to the suspension...

very nice - i decided to put some black fablon behind the grill, instead of painting it, still doesnt look awesome when you're close up - dont really want to cut that piece in the middle out. You need a private plate to finish yours off!

This is mine before and after with new grill
