(G) CD changer coding help!!!!

Hi guys, just got my IDC A09 CD changer off eBay today, installed it and now ready to go. Ive entered the code ive been given (which is 5894) and it just spits it back!! The serial number is "BP915046409745"

Can anyone help??

Hello, did you get the original code card with the cd changer or just a written code?
Assuming the code is right this is the right procedure for entering the code on a original Stilo radio from Visteon:

switch on the radio
press button "CDC"
display shows "CDC CODE" for a short while
then display changes to "0000"
with preset buttons 1-4 you can enter your code:

EXAMPLE: 4321

press button 1 4 times
press button 2 3 times
press button 3 2 times
press button 4 1 time

if code entered correctly then press OK or search ^ button to confirm.

this should unlock the changer for use with your radio.

Hi, thanks for the quick replies!! Sorry, I dont know Rich Newport but good try lol Il try that code later when it resets itself! Didnt realise that you had to have the ignition on for the hour countdown to work!!!

"3634" didnt work either any other suggestions??

can you post ALL of the numbers from the sticker on the cd changer? Most important one is another 10 digit number which will start with a 7

THAN AFTER I CAN FIND CHANGER CODE
