Hi guys, would appreciate if you guys can solve this error msg for me. It started when i change my Main beam to HID light. after finish the installation, it reflect a error msg on my dashboard meter stated. check RHS running light and Check LHS running light. could anyone tell me how to solve this. thanks:worship:

I suspect this is because the body computer has detected a big change in loading on the lighting circuits. It can't detect main beam failure but it would seem to be indicating it's detected a problem with your side lights (running lights).

Are you taking more or less current than normal on main beam as this should provide a clue to the solution?

most hid kits come with a harness to slove this problem, it connects directly to the battery and sends the right voltage message to the computer and prevents the message, only the really cheap ones come without.

if you change your side lights to leds this will bring up the message, but as hid's take draw less current than normal lights then its probably them

Thanks guys for the prompt reply.

Yes i do have the harness to connect the HID
and yes i do install a LED side light. is there anyway to clear it and
by the way, when i install the side light to led, it seems like the led
won't be able to off when i off the engine and cut off everything sames
gose to my interior lights which i also change to led. is there any way to
clear this problem.

by the way i leave in singapore so certain parts i won't be able to get it
so easily. but i don't mind some diy stuff.

this is my ride configer.

06 Fiat Stilo 2.4 5 door with salespeed.
this is certain mod i've done
KNN Drop in air filter
5 pcs denso irdium sparks plug

I also have some problem in finding my sports rim.
i belive the fiat sprots rim PCD is 98 4 holes is there any other alternative
which i can use. and which Springs do you guys won recommand as i find that the bodyroll is a bit much for this car.

sorry for asking so much question as in my country there's no one expert enough to help me on this.

led's will cause bulb failure warnings, they draw alot less current than normal bulbs, should say that on the back of the box. no way of stoping that short of taking the led's out

dont need em, get some xenon side lights bulbs from

www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk

i thnk they ship abroad

choose the ice blue and there a really bright blue, like hid's only side lights, best iv seen

rims, you can use 4 x 100 using "wobly bolts" should give you alot more choice

eibach pro kit, dampers and springs, 30mm drop

if you want to go lower, eibach pro dampers and eibach sportline springs 50mm front and upto 45mm rear.

if you can get hold of bilstein dampers get them
