Technical HELP! New Catalytic Converter???

Great stuff! Just needed to find an exhaust place where they're not frightened to roll their sleeves up and get in there

Thats the problem though with the fast fit places nowadays they want to earn their money the easy way and not prepared to get stuck in..glad to see you managed to get it sorted mate and I bet your relieved it was a fraction of the cost (y)

Good for you mate (y)

Some of them really do try and stick their arm in. £200 - £250 to replace a Cat Converter that wasn't even faulty? How stupid does he think I am?!

Hello to all i know i am in the wrong part of the forum but could i ask if anyone would know where i could get a cat for a 1.8 dynamic please. I have been quoted £900 which means the car gets scrapped unless i can find an alternative.Kind Regards Steve:worship:

I still don't get what the 900 is for. It's only costing me £700 to have a duplex back with stanless pipe all the way to the first cat removing the second one and fixing a leak up front weather it needs a new cat or not.
