Right looking for information on building a 1.6 turbo and been sent over here. Ive looked around but can only find people asking about it no real info, correct me if im wrong though. Would be very greatfull if someone could give me a rough idea on what parts are needed, a rough price etc.

I know the greek guys are good at it and if thats my only option might be taking my stilo on a trip to greece lol.

Cost over in Greece is approx 5/6,000 euros and thats without considering the gearbox which keeps blowing up with the extra power :bang:

:O 4k in GBP then?!?!?!?! you sure, ive seen a focus rs have a new block and new everything fitted and mapped etc to get it to 300bhp for 8k!!!! and thought a punto gt gearbox fixed that problem?

Yes the Punto gearbox does sort the problem but that's not included in the price and an extra IF you can find one the main problem with the fiat engine is availability of parts to do the conversion for instance they use a lancia inlet manifold and add a 5th fuel injector..from ford sierra..

And that as well total waste of money and reliability comes into question with the conversion as well ..

So really you should save the money and buy a car with a turbo as standard!

Yeh buy a pre turbo'd car i have a mr2 turbo 0-60 in 5.5sec top speed of 168 mine cost me 2750! and it doesnt break cuz its jap! but if you really do want a turbo stilo i would think about using a fiat coupe turbo engine? Read a couple of books on turbos get an understanding of them? hanynes publishes one and search amazon for a book by corky bell really really good book.

Ah balls to it, just take the back seats out and strap in and jet engine! :slayer:
