(G) sat nav, nav tec,,, is it voice activated

i have a 1.9 jtd and came with sat nav, it says in the book its voice active, when i press the buttons it says not available? does that mean i havent got it?

its a 7.1 version i think. cheers[8D]

You have color screen or grey-tunes?
Color is sat nav+, this is mobile phone, voice activated

mine is a 7.1 and has a red screen.. not colour?? it dont seem to put people in a directory also, is it voice activated?

[:0] red ? should to have or monochromatic (probably gray, but I've never saw :I) or colourful


Maybe you have not engaged proper language for voice commands. Try to set it in Setup -> Language. But you will need the CD Setup - without this CD you will not be able to set language for voice commands.

nope mine is half the size of that and is defo red.... exactly the same around the sat nav.. buttons for speech etc. but says not available....

wait a second, if you have Connect Nav+ ( image below ), then voice commands must work and the problem is with config.


But if plastic on your connect is black, probably you have got only Connect and unfortunately it will not work


that's the difference

cheers mate, that looks much better than mine tho. damn... nah i dont think i have it then, its silly to have buttons if theres nothing there, same with my automatic rain sensors, i have buttons but no sensors.
