Anyone know if any of the new bravo kit will fit the stilo?

I saw one today, and I kinda fancy the steering wheel. Though, I have to admit, the Stilo is still much better looking, the bravo looks like a larger grande punto (which isn't bad) but i still prefer the stilo!

You're right, not a patch on the Stilo. Front end OK (not as good as Grande Punto) but back end a disaster, with stupid dumpy lights and poky rear side windows.

Couldnt agree more the bravo is no more than a bigger GP with a fancy arse and not even a nice one either ..and the fact that they wont be making it in the 3dr guise is a big mastake ..which they will realise when sales dont take off as they expect then to in this country :)

No idea if the Bravo's steering wheel will fit - but for the cost (remember, it's the wheel and the airbag) I can't see the point.

I heard a rumour that 3dr Bravo will be based on the GM Astra 3dr floor pan. Not sure if thats a good thing. Alfa Romeo are already using the GM V6 block so it seems like the FIAT GM partnership is moving on.

The Fiat/GM partnership is defunct! GM got to use JTD engines. Fiat got a big wad of cash.

I'd imagine the 3dr will be based on the same floorpan in 5dr Bravo. Same as they have done before with their other 3 and 5 door models. As for not having a 3dr being a mistake - I don't think it is. A 5 door is much more practical and looks just as good. 3dr sales are much lower than 5dr in any given model apart from superminis. Put it against costs for developing a 3dr and they might well be losing money.

Yup, if ppl want a 3 drs they can just buy a GP, I'm sur e it wont be long the put the Tjet and 150Mjet engine into the GP, I hope so anyway!!!:slayer:

I have to disagree i dont think i have ever liked a 5 door fiat. So can anybody show me a good looking 5er.

The epitomy of style and grace:slayer:

After having a 3dr Stilo and now moving into a 5dr Bravo, I wouldn't go back to a 3dr. Granted, the Stilo looked much better in 3dr guise, but the difference between 3 and 5dr Punto's shows that 5drs can be the way to go. Same with the Golf, hardly noticable.

Although GM pulled out of the 10% investment and joint project paid FIAT $2 billion, they are still trading engine ideas, vehicle concepts and chassis designs although no combined effort exists.

This leaves the door open for FIAT and GM to effectively copy each others concepts (at a price I dare say) of both engine and running gear design.

Well put Rich (y)

Nice not having to get out of the car when you pick up rear passengers isn't :)

That, and due to the Stilo's design of rear cabin acess, the back side cards were badly scratched, and were £100 each (you know what I'm like for scratched plastics). That, and they'd step on your sill plates, grab the handles on the roof and mark your roof lining . . . no way, not again!

There's nothing worse than passengers!!
