Buying a 1.6 Active Sport

Just a quick one...

Thinking of getting a 3dr 1.6 16v Active Sport it's black and priced at £5000 seems pretty good value for money.

Apart from the obvious, is there anything I should look out for when buying this model of stilo. Got f**ked with my last fiat (a punto) head gasket went, gearbox, timing and so on, so i really dont want to get my fingers burnt twice!!

Would really appreciate any help!!!!

Cheers

Matt

How old is it? What mileage? Private? Dealer?
1.6 is very sturdy and reliable engine so it's the other stuff, the electrics you want to check through, air bag failure lights etc

Err... not broken a gearbox ever (yet) but then again my JTD 'treated' me to a broken NSF Spring a few weeks ago, which was the first one that ever broke on me... Perhaps aftermarket springs should be the first mod on puntobristol's list... lol
