Tailgate Struts Multiwagon

Hi,
My tailgate struts on my Stilo Multiwagon have gone. (the door is really heavy)

Can anyone tell me if struts from other Fiats work, or is there a specific type for the Multiwagon?

Many thanks

Mark

Re: Tailgate Struts Multiwagon

There are 3 different types to look out for...

It depends if you've got the standard 1 piece tailgate, 2 piece (where the glass also pops up) and if you have the pop up and the larger rear tailgate moulding..

Get the wrong ones and you could ping the boot open very rapidly or need extra muscles to help you..

They all retail between 15.67+vat - 17.93+vat.

If you want a correct number and price PM me with your chassis number and I can price them at cost for you and could post if you like..

How old was your MW when the struts went? Mine went when my MW was 16 months old ...it's now 4 1/2 years ...so expect them to go any day now
