Cat Problems

Does anybody know the price of a new cat converter

or a recon one please

just found out its gone causing lamda sensor failure

lucky mot not till march

Cat wouldnt cause lambda failure! I'm not saying the cat isn't at fault but I have seen so many mis-diagnosed.

will the broken cat affect the cars performance as i am going on holiday to skye in 2 weeks which is a 800 mile round trip.

I dont think i can get the cat sorted before then

Might whip the heat shield off later and have a look. Good thing with the 1.2 is it's a small engine, so plenty of room to noz around!

If its collapsed internally then of course as basically your exhaust is partially or fully blocked.
