Re: It's that time...

sorry to see you go mate but a new start is always good, seems to have been loads of members going in the last weeks.

but atlast you are staying loyal to the fiat brand.

Hell yeah - just been reading a few snippets in the Nouvo Panda section, and the way this car handles on the bends can't wait.

Although already thinking of mods FF stickers, get rid of all the dealership markings, new plates, induction kit lowering

Need to phone up insurance as well - should be interesting, lol. Only a group 5.

Re: It's that time...

You do right...the Panda 100hp is already a legend....the magazines are creaming over it. Personally they ought to have called it the Abarth...its the true spirit of the badge...little revvy engine, sharp handling and fun.

Re: It's that time...

All this is making me drool, lol.

Unless you know of the car already, people tend to think 'WTF are you doing, a Panda?' - but enthusiasts know different. I suppose deep down it is what I wanted when I walked into the showroom, and soon after that everything fell into place.

I still have 5 doors though

Re: It's that time...

The panda 100 was actually chosen in the 12 best handling cars of the year test in Car magazine recently they were so impressed with it.
5 doors are fine.....just not on a Stilo.

Hi Stuie

I'm sorry to hear you're letting the Stilo go, mind you, it was a five door, so we can live with it!

I actually thought someone of your standing would have gone for a nice 150bhp Bravo, it'd suit your slick style and, it's got five doors. A Panda is a bit 'ginger beer' but I'll let you off based on our 'previous experiences'.

No, honestly, I'm glad you've stuck with the brand and hopefully the Panda will bring you as many years of troublesome, but enjoyable motoring as the Stilo did.

You've got a great big whopping drive, you could be like one of these air bases and have the Stilo on a static display for all and sundry to see, a tribute to the FIAT forum.

My Mrs company car is up for change in February, I'm hoping that she gets the option to choose a FIAT because she too likes the New Bravo, last time her only chioces were Renault, Toyota or Vauxhall, it seems companies and fleets don't like our beloved brand, but she is going to put the suggestion forward, then I'll be a Bravoman instead of a Stiloman!

Re: It's that time...

Unfortunately you are wrong on a few counts - yes, I would have loved to have got a Bravo 150, but at least £3k more - funds I do not have, nor wished to finance.

And as for the big whopping drive, that house was sold many months ago my current place is somewhat more 'normal' hence on-street parking.

Things have changed in my life, Twinny.

How true, AI did a review, and they said it's like a Range Rover, only smaller and far better! They look 10 times better than the standard Pandas and if I didn't love my Stilo so much, I'd be very tempted. But, I'm one of the lucky ones who've had no major problems other than one's that were my fault for being a smart arse and fooking about!

Sorry to hear hear you're leaving 'da massive innit' but as has been said countless times, at least you're sticking with the best thing to come out of Italy since Pizza & Nastro Azzuro!

Sorry to hear it Stu..

Haven't driven the 100HP as I drove a bog standard 1.1 courtesy car and could barely fit in it but I love the look of the 100HP.. and I've been told they are a fun drive.

Good luck with the little bear..
