Chuffin Coward

Well the past two weeks ive been in Japan seeing Darth_Maul and on the thursday before I went away, i found out some numpty had driven into my car in the staff car park at the airport. No details left behind and a dent in my driver side wing, with acompanying scrapes and red paint, oh yeah and they broke my headlamp from its fitting. Now no details were left and its nigh on impossible to track them down as the car park is huge and there is minimal cctv!

Just had the first quote for repairs yeasterday and its £1000+ I mean come on! Now I really like my car so im going to fix it but still!

Re: Chuffin Coward

Makes you mad as hell doesn't it

Some moron put a shopping trolley in the side of mine which cost me £199 a few months back

You do feel a lot better when it's fixed though

Re: Chuffin Coward

I feel your pain. Some donkey managed to push the offside front of my bumper back by about 10mm. Not really noticable but you can see that where the bumper upright meets the bonnet, there is a noticable gap.

Supermarket car parks are the worst. Usually mothers who feel that other peoples property is not as important as getting the kids into the back.

Some ways of avoiding this are not to park next to a Chelsea tractor or a people carrier (van with windows).

Both of the above types of vehicle are totally unnessary unless you live either in the middle of a field (for the 4x4) or you have an emotional attachment to busses (in the case of the MPV).

I have witnessed damage to other peoples vehicles made by the above mentioned classes of vehicle and once actually challenged the offending driver. The response initially was one of denial, then changed to one of 'well you cant prove it' quickly developing into a hail of abuse....to which I responded with my own hail of abuse! (I won the abuse slinging match in the end).

People in so-called 'prestige' vehicles (Jags, BMW, Merc etc) are dreadful. They seem to think that your 'inferior' vehicle is ideal for resting their doors on, and indeed, even use your bonet to rest their shooping on while they open the boot! T*ssers

Or you need to ferry around 6 children and yourself in relative comfort and safety - together with car seats, pushchairs, school bags.

I have no emotional attachment to busses
