Stilo 140 multijet?

Anyone know when (if?) the Stilo will be available with the 16V multijet engine in the UK. I still haven't placed my order for a Stilo - decided to wait until I have sold my Bravo and I am off to Rhodes for a two week holiday in a three weeks time which makes trying to sell the Bravo privately a bit difficult!

The 16V engine seems to be a lot smoother and quieter and has a bit more power. Mind you I am not sure what tuning potential the multijet engine has compared with the jtd

I was very tempted with an ex-demo 147 jtd Lusso with 109 miles on the clock even though it was six months old. It had gone before I could even think about trying to find the cash without having sold the Bravo.

I am still leaning towards buying a 3-door Stilo rather than blowing the budget entirely on a 147 - lets face it I can get a Stilo jtd Dynamic with 17" alloys, skirts, leather and Sat-nav for less than the price of a 147 Turismo (complete with plastic wheel trims)!

In Belgium test versions are already on the road !
And the seats of the Stilo are better in leather than the basic ones !
Alfa you pay a lot for the sporty name but seen the exhaust yet : he's huge and sits in plain view at the back !!
And 16V multijet is not tunable yet there working on it, for the secure tuning add 25-35 HP to the 140 he's already.

I'm suprised that Fiat are making a Diesel 16v version of the Stilo, if its going to trod on the feet of the 147. Sure it will make a superb car though!

53 plate, Stilo 3-door, Sassy grey, Alloys to follow, 1.2 Active, 5-Disc CD-Changer -- 45mpg!

I suspect that is why they haven't released it yet. Obviously they make more profit selling 147s.

Does anyone know if Angel Tuning can tune the 16V engine yet? (Nige?)

Duppe the exhaust on all 147s is sticking right at the car behind because of the tuning so if you want to put only rear pipe you can choose the one you want unlike the stilo pipe which is looking down ... a big rear pipe on the exhaust gives extra sportty look ...

You're right but the big rectangular box just before the endpipe is really huge and with no other rear fender (not sure of the name) it just looks cheap for such an expensive car. And here in Belgium the reduktion on the bruto price is a joke. But another end pipe (really BIG one ) is needed on 147.

Here in Croatia, you can order JTD 16v engine.
In fact, I ordered one, still waiting for delivery (hopefully in early july)

In Croatia you can order 140 JTD in 3p or 5p... My delivery is next week (after 2 months waiting)... until then...
